In my own words…
Mama Hope was formed in 2007 to partner with Community Based Organizations at home and in the developing world. What this means is, we believe that communities taking the initiative to solve their own problems need to be recognized, listened to and supported in the ways they see fit. These are not Mama Hope’s projects, they are the communities’ project.
Since 2007, we have partnered with five CBOs in East Africa helping to fulfill the basic necessities of health, water, agriculture, education and opportunity.
