Boss Fight
3D render, 1920 x 1080 pixels, 2025
The idea of performance is both spectacle and survival: the dancer’s silhouette becomes a battleground avatar, enacting trials of adaptation and resilience. The dragons represent the customs, languages, and expectations we inherit—formidable guardians whose presence both challenges and supports our journey. Each step, each gesture, is a negotiation of power: to stand tall under scrutiny, to claim space within imposing structures, to translate vulnerability into artistry.

Bossfight is an homage to the rites we undertake when crossing cultural thresholds. It speaks to the international student’s dual calling: to perform fluently in new contexts while honoring the fire of one’s origins. In this play of light and shadow, performance is our means of forging connection—an elegy to the courage it takes to dance unguarded in halls that were never built for us.
Divinity I
3D render, 1920 x 1080, 2024
Divinity I emerges from my exploration of thresholds that define and defy our sense of home. In a cavernous expanse of steel and shadow, towering vertical columns stand like sentinels, their rhythmic pillars casting fractured beams of violet light. The columns form both boundary and bridge: an architectural membrane through which the luminous beyond pulses with promise and alienness. A lone figure stands before this colonnade, arms open as if in supplication or beckoning, absorbing the silent power radiating from the unknown. 'Divinity I' speaks to the experience of living between worlds: we confront barriers of language, culture, and expectation that seem immovable, yet bear slits of light through which we glimpse belonging. The rigid forms are both protective and confining—reminding us how structures of identity can shelter us while also constraining our movement across borders.
Entropy
3D render, 1920 x 1080, 2023
'Entropy' is born from the tension of inhabiting multiple worlds at once: the familiar and the foreign, the remembered and the unknown. In this piece, I conjure a landscape of secret currents and shifting planes that cradle a luminous orb—an echo of home, memory, and aspiration. The orb hovers in limbo, both emerging from and dissolving into its surroundings, much like the self that is never fully here nor entirely there. A solitary figure stands with arms open, an invitation to embrace flux, to stretch toward belonging even as the landscape slips beyond reach. Entropy is about experience of entering and exiting, of learning to stand between edges without losing form. Each viewing becomes an invitation to inhabit the space between arriving and departing.
